Church Rooms for Hire

We offer a great suite of well‑equipped rooms for community use: the Clubroom, Lounge, Shortlands Room, and the Youth Centre. While our spaces are not available for parties, they are ideal for meetings, classes, workshops, and group activities of all kinds.

At the tower end of the church, our three main rooms provide level access throughout, with no steps, large and small kitchens, and excellent disabled facilities, including a spacious accessible toilet and baby‑changing area.

The Youth Centre, located at the town end of the church and set slightly back from the road, offers a bright, functional hall with level access, its own kitchen, and toilets — perfect for larger groups and active sessions.

The Clubroom

The Clubroom is a flexible space suitable for parties, meetings, classes, and community events. It holds up to 70 people and includes plenty of plug sockets plus an adjoining large kitchen with metal roller shutters that open to form a serving counter.

  • Outdoor Space: Available in good weather for extra room or breakout use.

Furniture & Equipment

A central store between the Clubroom and Lounge provides easy access to:

  • 100 chairs
  • 10 × 5ft GOPAK tables
  • 5 × 3ft GOPAK tables
  • 4 × 5ft children’s GOPAK tables

Extra chairs and trestle tables are available on request.

Larger Events

The Clubroom and Lounge can be combined to create one spacious, open room when booked together.

The Lounge

The Lounge is a comfortable, carpeted space that also accommodates up to 70 people. It measures 7m (23ft) × 8.5m (28.3ft) with a ceiling height of approx. 3m (10ft).

  • Access to a small galley kitchen
  • Electric slide screen mounted on the wall for presentations or displays

Larger Events

The Lounge and Clubroom can be opened up and combined to create one spacious, flexible area when booked

The Shortlands Room

The Shortlands Room is a small, quiet committee space furnished with tables and chairs. It comfortably accommodates up to 15 people, making it ideal for meetings or focused group sessions.

The Youth Centre

The Youth Centre sits at the town end of the church grounds, slightly set back from the main building. It’s a practical, modern space with a refurbished kitchen featuring a large serving hatch into the hall.

  • Chair store with 7 × 6ft GOPAK tables for around 50 people

Suitable Activities

The hall is ideal for adult sessions such as line dancing, martial arts, and exercise classes.

Outdoor Space

The outside area is more limited than at the Rooms, but there is a patio available for use
